TRANSPORTATION OF DANGEROUS GOODS “CLEAR LANGUAGE REGULATIONS” TRAINING
As of August 15, 2002, the new Clear Language Regulations for the Transportation of Dangerous Goods came into effect. Part 6 of the new regulations state that; 1) A person who handles, offers for transport or transports dangerous goods must… a) “ be adequately trained and hold a training certificate in accordance with this Part; or. b) perform those activities in the presence and under the direct supervision of a person who is adequately trained and who holds a certificate in accordance with this Part.” To assist you in reaching compliance with the revised regulations, Levac Supply Limited is offering in class training sessions as described below:
Duration: 1/2 Day (3 1/2 hours) Morning 8:00 am – 11:30 am / Afternoon 1:00 pm – 4:30 pm.
Style: In-class lecture including a competency check that will be marked in class. A Certificate will be issued at the end of the session and a Record of Training sent to the appropriate administrative personnel. Our instructor is a Certified Registered Safety Professional who will deliver a comprehensive training program to ensure compliance with all the requirements of the new regulations.
